Ministry of Coal, Govt. of India intend to allocate coal block for captive use for the purpose of coal liquefaction (Coal to Liquid) project.

2. The companies registered under the Companies Act, 1956 may apply for the coal blocks. Applications shall be made afresh and applications, if any, submitted prior to this advertisement shall not be considered.

3. Applications in 5(five ) copies to be addressed to Director (CA-I), Ministry of Coal may be submitted in Room No.353, A-wing, Shastri Bhavan, Rajendra Prasad Road, New Delhi-110001 between 11.00 AM and 04.30 PM on any working day. The last date of receipt of application shall be 1^st July, 2008.

4. A soft copy of details, filled in the application form, is also required to be presented, in MS-Excel format in a CD, along with the application form.
